A lot of wonderful work is coming out of the various painting softwares that are out now. This one is terrific and I love the grubby, rootish colors you've used.
aww. my heart just goes out to that sweet little Rootman. Makes me never ever EVER want to chop up overgrown roots again --after seeing his face and waiting for his escape! I'm actually happy he's just patiently waiting for his growth. I think it would be unbareable seeing him reaching and struggling for the surface. Growing takes time patience. whew.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderfully creepy character design. I think it would strenghen the piece if he were struggling or reaching towards the surface.

ReplyDeleteReminds me of a mandrake. Nice illustration. Good use of colours.
